Growing up in foster homes without a stable family structure is incredibly difficult. For many, facing seasons of homelessness, loneliness, and uncertainty allows bitterness to take root. But sometimes, it leads to a deliberate choice to embrace love.
“I could never hate anyone,” she shared. “I did not know what love was, so I wanted to love everyone.”
In a world where resentment is common and forgiveness is rare, choosing love is an act of incredible courage. It is easy to love when life is going well, but much harder when you’ve been hurt. Yet, choosing love remains one of the greatest catalysts for healing.
 
Finding God in the Darkest Valleys
Her journey took an even more dramatic turn when she faced a life-altering lymphoma diagnosis. Doctors were uncertain about the future, leading to grueling months in palliative care. “Lord, if You heal me, I will live for Your purpose.”
